President: Mrs Sheela Sogal Mrs Aruna Patankar Mrs Nandini Bhide (bhide01@gmail.com) Nandini originally comes from Shivaji Park, Mumbai. She has been living in North America since 1985, and has lived in South Florida for one and half years. Prior to moving to Florida Nandini lived in Toronto, Canada for 2 years; Naperville, IL for 20 years; and in Tampa for 2 years. She was employed by United Airlines for 15 years in the capacity of Database Interpreter. She also worked at other major airlines such as TWA and Iberia Airlines of Spain. She lives with her husband Shrinivas and daughter Ashwini in Coral Springs. She keeps herself busy by looking for employment, reading, gardening and making new friends Mr Sandeep Kamath Youth Committee Miss Shivani Puranik (sphappyfeet@gmail.com) Shivani Puranik was born in Delhi, India, and moved to the United States at the age of 3. She is a sophomore at Boca Raton Community High School. She enjoy’s reading fiction, cooking, going on walks and music. She is a Bharat Natyam dancer since the age of 6 and hopes to continue to excel in Indian Classical dance.Miss Pooja Baviskar Shridhar Patankar (shridhar.614@gmail.com) Shridhar is a University of Florida alumnus who recently earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry. He has been involved in MMOSF activities in the past. Shridhar has been exposed to classical Indian music from a young age and enjoys singing, playing the tabla (at home when no one is listening) and playing guitar. His other hobbies include "do-it-yourself" projects, playing cards and sometimes reading. Shridhar is most passionate about one thing in his life, which is the sport of cricket!
Cultural Committee Mrs Shailaja Waikar Miss Gauri Mankhame Mrs Kanchan Jog Shirish Patankar (patankars@bellsouth.net) Born in Karad, raised in Ahmedabad, Shirish is an Architect who came to Florida in 1993. He has been working with M S Architects since 1994 as an Architect and with Steven Feller as an Electrical Designer since 1995. He and his family, including his wife Aruna who is a Physical Therapist and sons Rohan and Shridhar, enjoy participating in cultural activities. Shirish loves the performing Arts. He has acted and directed dramas both in USA and India. He loves watching movies. He also likes to play Sitar & sing in his spare time

Mrs Rajni Abhyankar Mrs Manisha Damle Mrs Kundalkar (bkundalkar@gmail.com) Bhagyashree is a resident of South Florida since 1988 and lives with her husband Rajiv and mother Mandakini Kundalkar in West Palm Beach. Her daughter Sona and her husband Ajith live in Northern, California and daughter Rina and her husband Aaron live in West Palm Beach. A chemist by profession Bhagyashree teaches at the Honors College of FAU in Jupiter FL. She loves to socialize, travel, read and is looking forward to serve on the MMOSF committee. Monali is originally from Pune and resides in coconut ceek with husband Satya and son Nikhil. She has been in south Florida for the last 10 years. She is a civil and environmental engineer by profession and also a busy mom to an active toddler. She is a fun loving people's person and enjoys organizing and participating in social events
Web Design and Public Relations Committee Rajesh Surve (rajeshsurve@yahoo.com) Rajesh is die-hard mumbaiyte and also floridian (since 2002). Lives at Boca Raton with his wife Sonali and two kids Akanksha and Om. He is software engineer by profession and currently working as Senior development manager at healthcare organization. Rajesh's wife Sonali is also software professional currently pursuing her education in health care. Rajesh and family are active participants in MMOSF activities and he enjoys movie,music, camping and pizza

Shrirang Talwalkar (shrirang.talwalkar@gmail.com) Shrirang is from Mumbai. Educated as a Mechanical Engineer from IIT, Bombay, worked in Operations Research and Business Applications Systems in a variety of industries (Grocery, Manufacturing and Advertising). Currently does taxes at the Premium office of H&R Block in Coral Gables. Rohini and I have lived in Coral Gables since 1998. Rohini works as a Senior Director in Finance for DelMonte Fresh, the well known fruit company in Coral Gables. We spent most of our careers in the Northeast, which is where our two sons currently live. In addition to Maharashtrian culture, Shrirang is interested in Bridge, Reading, Good Food and Plays "Darpan" Editor Nitin Vaidya (nvaidya@bellsouth.net) Nitin served as President of the Mandal from 2009 to 2011. He started MMOSF’s monthly newsletter “Darpan” in 2008. Originally from Pune, Nitin currently lives in Fort Lauderdale. A seafaring Captain by profession, he works for Ravenscroft Ship Management, a shipping company based in Coral Gables and has lived in south Florida since 1995. Nitin enjoys music, singing, golf, painting, cooking, reading and writing.
